Regarding our discussion of ELectronica… geddit?
Some of you may remember that intriguing discussion we had on electronica not long ago, where my esteemed contemporary Josh Stewart and I fought over whiteboard markers to write down all our favourite artists/albums in the least possible time. If you didn’t have a pen and pencil handy, or you couldn’t read our writing, or whatever, here’s a brief recap.
- Massive Attack: ‘Mezzanine’. Recommended tracks: Angel, Teardrop
- The Postal Service: ‘Give Up’. Recommended tracks: Brand New Colony, Clark Gable
- Portishead: ‘Portishead’, ‘Dummy’. Recommended tracks: Road, Only You, Glorybox (which you may have heard at just a few prizegivings, courtesy of Jazz Band)

It would be interesting, would it not, if we sixth form musos shared our taste in music more often. I just realised that I have known most of you for years but have no idea what you like to listen to – even though we take Music together!… Yes, I do appear to be getting sentimental in my old age. :|
