  1. Just a clarification regarding the programme notes:

    several important musical features refers to the same stuff you would write for the in-class assessment (analysis of the elements and features). So, anything we talked about in regards to the score. For programme notes, just keep it simple– something the “untrained” audience would understand.

  2. I can’t listen to any of the Kembang Suling clips from home. Both options say file not found. Our poor man’s Gamelan sounds rather interesting though…

    • Are you sure you tried each play option for each of the pieces?. Seems strange that it would let you play our cheap ass gamelan and not the Kembang Suling files.

      • No, she’s right, darnit. I’ve had to fix those links for Kembang Suling– they work now!

        While I’ve got your attention, has anyone found any decent footage of either of these on YouTube?:
