After our discussions in class today, it seems that these due dates are acceptible to anyone.
To remind you (and me) what I said . . . I am willing to work with you regarding performance assessment dates for Year 12/13 Music students provided that:
- You give me plenty of notice (ex: 3 weeks before the assessment date or event)
- You have a legitimate reason (ex: you have a music exam and want a practice performance closer to that date)
If you don’t give me 3 weeks notice, forget it. It will be too difficult to manage.
I love the idea of student-organised lunchtime recitals– perhaps even in the foyer. We can create posters and advertise around the school, if you like.
