Friday lunchtime sessions start Week 1, Term 4
You will learn:
- the very basics of recording– terminology (aux, send, IO, analog/ digital, bounce, bus)
- Protools etiquette– file management, track naming, creating edit groups, etc
- how to record a single track (one mic) and bounce it to disk
- recording multiple tracks– including microphone setup (position/ choice of mic, etc)
- working with plug-ins and be able to add basic reverb (to a single track, or over many tracks)
By the end of 8 weeks, students will record the Year 9 Blues (10+ tracks simultaneous), clean it up, fade in/out each track, and bounce to disk
