Where’s Burcin gone now?!
Mr. B is away for the start of Term 3 representing New Zealand at the World Symposium on Choral Music in Patagonia, Argentina
Top choirs from all over the world apply, then are invited to participate. It will be an awesome opportunity for Mr. B to do some PD (professional development) and hear some of the best choral music on the planet. It’s not a competition, but a series of performances, workshops and discussions– all about choral music! (I can sense your jealousy from here).
It’s a great honour to be a part of Voices NZ Chamber Choir and to go on this tour, but unfortunately it occurs during term time. Please be vigilant with your studies– performance assessments are just around the corner! And keep up your theory– school exams are coming up as well!
Thanks for your understanding, and that’s for managing your time and studies yourself so that you don’t fall behind. Mr. Emo will be there to assist you– don’t be afraid to ask him for help!
P.S. Little James Michael Burcin arrived in the holidays, on 21 July. And, though he has a full head of hair . . . he was born senza soul patch.
